La TOHU seeks to make Montreal one of the world's rallying points for circus activity so that circus artists, collective groups and professional organizations find here the support needed to practice and develop their art. La TOHU's services to professionals were created with this goal in mind.
Thanks to an artists-in-residence program, an autonomous training program and rental services, La TOHU accompanies the research, creation and production processes by making available to circus professionals various infrastructures as well as material and technical resources.
These services are available at the National Circus School, where La TOHU has at its disposal a studio designed to meet the specific needs of circus artists. The National Circus School is an institution for higher education in the circus arts. Its mission for over 20 years has been to train circus artists for professional performance. Having just moved into new installations located in the heart of La TOHU, the NCS provides students and professionals alike with state-of-the-art equipment and pedagogical resources.
